With so many great artists around the internet, it can be really hard to save all the art you like while remembering who created it and where it came from. Furthermore, with so much great content comes a messy downloads folder! Image Sourcerer proposes a solution to both these problems.
By download art you like using Image Sourcerer, you can save all the images you'd like, then upload it to the decoder to display relevant information, including the artist, and a link to the original post.
When downloading images, you're prompted for where to save the image. Rather than wasting time clicking through folders and trying to find a good place to save your image, you can just type in the path and name of where to save it, quick and easy!
On supported sites, it's a simple matter of clicking the red download button and typing where you'd like to save it. For decoding, you can just head over to the decode page and upload any image you've downloaded to retrieve the saved data.
To download Image Sourcerer, head over to the Download page. You can read more about the extension and how to use it on the About and Help pages.
Although Image Sourcerer isn't on the chrome store yet, we plan on deploying it soon, hopefully by its first anniversary this March. However, there are a few things that need to happen first. Below is a list of these things:
- Add different colour scheme support for Reddit (1 day)
Add different colour scheme support for Pixiv (1 day)- Add Instagram support (1-2 weeks)
Redesign extension popup panel (2-3 days)Add one time site messages (3 days)- Add master emergency kill switch (4 days)
- Make promotional/demonstration video (2 days)
- Design interactive tutorial (3-4 days)
